Default clogged injectors?

today when i turned my car on, it had to turn over for like 5 seconds before it started.... when i started to drive it, i noticed that it was hesitating a little bit and my a/f gauge was reading lean when i was on the throttle. when i was just driving with a steady throttle % ( on the afc), the a/f gauge was in stoich like its supposed to be. it was only when i increased the throttle % that the gauge went lean

now i have a walbro 255 lph fuel pump and lucas 440s (i normally run rich)
i checked the spark plugs and they arent fouled out
my ecu isnt throwing any codes

the only thing i can think of is maybe my injectors are clogged (ive had them for about a year)
what do you guys think and if that is the case... how much does it cost to have them cleaned?

A standard a/f guage isnt going to tell you anything unless its an actuall wideband unit.

The hesitation can be fuel or timing etc.
What is your vehicle tuned on ?

im using the afc hack...

i know that there is a different spray pattern on the injectors for WOT, but im kinda sketchy on finding out if they are running lean by opening the throttle all the way
(i doubt it because if i wasnt getting enough fuel, wouldnt my car just stall out?)

u guys are prolly right about the tune up...
who around here is reasonably priced and know how to tune the afc hack?

oh yea and i have one more question and dont feel like starting a whole new thread for it

i have a surging idle and im pretty sure its my iac valve.. im not too fond of spending over 200 bucks on a new one and i heard that if i put a screw behind the plate in the tb, it will stop the surge... does anyone recommend this or is there some other solution other than me buying a new iac valve?

Iacvs don't cost $200 you can find them for $50 here and there at junkyards etc.

Concerning the vafc hack, thats the worst method of tuning a boosted vehicle besides a FMU setup.

Please read: http://www.phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html

Maybe it will show you the lime light and get you to make a simple change which will make your setup a lot safer.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions
