Default Looking for a definative answer on injectors

I've looked for time to time for the exact specs and or deminsions of the following injectors with no real definative conclusion. Maybe one of you guys knows without a doubt the truth behind this or where i could find out.

I have tried to find out if the 96 Q45 injectors are the exact same as the 96 300ztt injectors. If in fact they are where could one search to find some good condition Q45 injectors?

Hrm, It would be a surpise if they were. I would imagine that they are top feed compared to the 300zx sidefeed injectors, which are the same size as stock SR injectors (370cc) if that is the case, I have a set of 370cc sidefeeds for sale!

Easiest way to check part numbers is www.carparts.com. If they have the same part number for the same brand, then they're compatible.

Mattback: i thought you would know this? And i didn't post this to get a retoracle(sp) remark about why i should get an injector from a different car. To reply to your imput--as to why.

Well, why would i want to buy injectors from a ragged out sr or 300 when i could possibly find the same injectors from the Q which is more often than not going to be a well maintained motor having very little abuse to it. Secondly, the in all likelyness the Q45 injectors will be cheaper. It comes down to peace of mind and cost.

Jeff240sx: Are "ALL" the nissan and infiniti part numbers interchangable?

because 9 out of 10 times you can get four SR 370cc injectors for maybe $100 total, including the rail!

lastly, injectors don't exactly 'wear out'. they get stuck sometimes from not running for a very long time, in which case they might be out of a wrecked q and sitting for a long time. they won't work nearly as well as a car thats been driven and 'ragged on' everyday. take it from someone who works on these cars every day!

Please direct me to where one could find the purple tops for 100$. I relize every once in a while they will go for around that on ebay, but the ones that go for that price are beat to hell. And that's only for 4 of them. I need six.

To be honest i don't need them at all. However it would be nice to get another set so i could run with my old system again. I promised myself i would give up the racing cause i didn't want to keep up the maintanance on the car. So i guess if i came into a really good deal then i would go ahead.
