I am putting a CD player in a freinds 99 Civic, I have everything hooked up and it was working just fine and then I crank the car.. the audio shuts off. the cd player is still on and working but I am getting no sound at all. the only way to get sound again even if I turn off the car is by pulling the harness of the back of the cd player and reseting it.. then the same thing happens all over again.. any ideas as to what the problem is?

 

Ohh btw.. it was a cut harness so I had to cut and splice it I hae double checked my wiring a few times....

no the cars harness was cut.. he had no CD player when he bought the car.. Why do you assume the CD player was stolen whats your problem. I had a question and you in no way shape or form helped me out any. If somebody else with some valid information could help me out that would be great. but otherwise keep the dumbass posts out of my thread please.

 

I dont know what wrong but i have a suggestion on how to fix it. Take the CD player outta the civic drop the civic out of an airplane (the only way to make one go fast anyway) and then go get a new car.

I want to turbo my car I have 3 grand to spend, you all would be giving some valid info.. but since I ask a question that is not "cool" or whatever you fucking think you guys give me some dumb ass fucking responses. actually it kinda serves a good balance of a tech fourm and a smart ass one..that and whats a racecare?? learn to type/spell. And have a NICE DAY
