I thought so too, untill I met him. If you ever met me, I'd surprise you. I have more experience then MOST people on TR think. SR20's, B-series, VW's, supra's you name it I've done it.

Mtber, now while a wideband is definately a good purchases, he isn't looking to tune his own car. He is trying to fight problems and have a solid setup...before tuning. Adj. FPR and FP gauges are definately a nice tool to have. Sure the small gauge under the hood and stock OEM regulator are going to work, but to a certain extent. I offer suggestions that are open and not a definitive rejection of ideas. Don't get upset because I bust your nuts, just leaving the door open for all the possibilities for using different tools.
Jason, you really didn't bust my nuts b/c the fpr & guage you recommended are not required to make reliable whp with his setup. They are just optional adjustability & monitoring tools. I agree they would be nice to have installed as an added tool for tuning the vehicle, but its not needed on his setup. Any tuner with a clue can figure out when a fuel pump isnt keeping up, besides its not like you can watch the f/p guage when your driving down the road, unlike a wideband which you can train a 5 yr old to understand

you're talking about tuning...he's talking about reliability. that's why there's a disconnect. I need the fpr and guage to diagnosis my problems. end of story.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Are your plugs fouling out , or have you determined it to just be a wiring issue ?

If the car turns off it just has to sit for a few mins then it starts up ?
