Well my power band will be different than your friends. I only have vtec on the intake side and only two lobes, and that crossover is at 2200rpm. So diet vtec and real vtec are two different animals. I would not be able to take the k20a3 to 8000. But I do have low end tq for a honda.

with 10 psi you should easily see 250 wheels. if i were you, id find a type s or a type r head, the cams and vtec should help you a TON in the top end....

That would really let it breath better. Only bad thing about that is my tranny would cause it to fall out of vtec with every shift.

I have read those a3 cranks SUCK! greddy removed the rotating assembly out of their EP3. just be easy... 250whp should NOT be a problem.

i have seen 250-260 on those kits without a problem. Which is not bad but not great. I personally like to see 300whp after spending the money on a turbo kit.

The crank and rods are crap. I would not take it over 300hp. That seems to be the breaking point of the a3. If she does blow, then ill have to put the k24 bottom end in there. That would be stronger and a tq monster.

then find urself a wrecked element and pull their K24 out...those things have mad crazy torque...that would move in a hatch.
