You're not accurate at all...

D15b's have a 9.2:1 C/R. They also have nearly the same exact rods as the D16z6, only difference is they have utilize a smaller journal bearing on the crankshaft. And being that they are 1.5's, they have a 3mm shorter stroke, which gives them a better a R/S ratio then all other D series engines and most other B series engines (minus the B17a). Thus, techinally speaking, a d15b would be better for boost and high revs then all other D series engines.

D15b rods on the left and D16z6 rods on the right

ooo man sorry i dont research my d-series stuff. but if you had any idea what i was talking about then you would realize i said the D16A1 or 3, 9.5:1 or ZC, 9.6:1(not the D16z6)...which is a DOHC dseries motors....and even if the stroke might be shorter by 3mm, and rev slower. But they defs are stronger than the D15b, and the D16z6 garbage motors. just my .02, and if you want you can take your precious time and come back w/ better research that defeats mine, b/c i have much better things to do w/ my life.

WTF? I was meerly correcting you. Not trying to prove how big my E-Cawk was..

And if im reading what you wrote right, you said the only engines that could handle 200+hp were the d16a's.. which is obviosuly wrong, as I know multiple stock block Z6's in the 230-250whp range. And what exactly makes the D16A1 or A3 a stronger better motor then a d15b or z6? I sure as hell know the D15b has a better R/S ratio and has the same rods..

PM Cronic. He's the O.G. SOHC turbo man. Also shoot one to Trip. Utilize the search function for SOHC VTEC turbo while you're at it. Remember, it all comes down to what YOU want, not what sounds good to somone else.
