By "new" do you meen a napa rebuilt distributor etc ?
Napa, Discount, Distributor king distributors sometimes can be defective altho they are "new".

Brand new OEM Honda/Acura distributor housing. I already had a brand new coil and ignitor.
I was told the sensor was in the housing. no?
