Default So......

I was going to rebuild the motor in my '89 Accord but I have come to the conclusion to just swap in a new motor rather than deal with a car that I have no idea what the mileage is. Just a few ?'s for you guys:

1. What is the best swap to go in my chassis? B16, H22?

2. Where is the best place to buy low mileage swaps?

3. What local shops would you reccomend using?

Basically I've got 7 months to get it up and runnign cause I am giving it to my little brother when he gets out of tech school for the Marines. Thanks for any sugesstions and ideas.

Talk to Accord95 or Marksaccord either of them should be able to help you out.

The only swap you can really do in that chassis is the H22...

yeah h22 i believe would also be the best if your looking for power..or if you wanted to swap a f22b or a f22a motor would work also....if the chasis are the same as the 2 newer gens than the 89.

swapping h22's into a 90-93 is easy as cake as just as the 94-97's...been done plenty of times..i know its been done in a 3rd gen, but it takes a lot of money, time, and patients.

because the CB and CD chassis are simmilar and the CA5 is completly diffrent.

My bad it only goes as old as 90. Yea you might have your hands full on that one. Custom work can get expensive.
