oh yeah, and the best swap for a 89 would actually be a B series motor, all you need is diffrent mounts.....im pretty sure its a b series...just gotta find a distributor that will or has mounts for the car and swap a b series..would be the easiest way.

From what I read today at work on www.3geez.com that a JDM b20 or b18 will swap in but you run into all kinda fabing part and finding parts off old cars, so to hell with that. I think I am just going to rebuild the motor enough for him to drive it then let him get something else. I could always boost it or run N20 but it's a 200k motor and I am sure that wouldn't help. But he for $50 can't beat a solid clean body of a car, just a shame it had to be Honda's redheaded step child with no aftermarket parts out there for it.
