chronic idle problem
have a 93 honda civic 1.6 sohc v-tec with a very bad idle problem, im talkin like ranging between 500 and 2500 rpms at a stop light, not exactly the vroom vroom we're lookin for, its a friends car and i gont know shit about the honda electrical systems, could it be the tps, does it have a tps, also could the ecu be fried?
Sounds like the fast idle thermo valve. Remove the plate on the back of the fast idle valve and screw the thermowax plunger all the way down. I'll bet money that takes care of it.
