ok, well i know nothing about pistons but one person saying those will not fit is enough to make me not buy them pistons are expensive


and i'm using stock rods

Lead, you could use ls pistons in your b16 without having to worry about the piston valve reliefs causing problems as long as you don't plan on doing major cam timing adjustments.

Another cheap solution you may want to consider is a MLS .056 headgasket.

A b16a2 has a c/r of 10.4:1 using a cotmetic mls headgasket it would put you at around 9.6:1 or so which is fine for a boost application

A c/r of 10.4:1 is still safe for boost (.6-.8 bar) it just has to be tuned conservatively.

+1 listen to this guy!!!!!!he's right!!!!!! you wont have any problems! but even if you played with cam timing, you'd have to move it so far that it wouldnt run very good anyway! if you're runnin boost then get em!

ok with your stock rods make sure you get them checked out and use Arp rod bolts i would not use your stock rod bolts its checp future safty if needed i have a set of 2000 b16 rods that have been heat treated and have arp 2000 wavelock bolts in them if you need to buy some 35bucks
