Guys that is NOT THE FRICTION-MODIFIED version that everyone is talking about !!!

The FM comes in a square bottle, like a quart of oil. This is a common mistake amongst the dealers, some do not know that there are 2 different kinds. One has friction modifer, one does not.

Damn my H22 grinds a little in 5th gear too I hate that shit Im gonna try that GM Tranny fluid.

NXSpoon is right, you want the one he posted. Its actaully damn cheap if the dealer don't used the 300% markup.

This, however, is only a quick fix. Will hurt the tranny in the long run if you don't have it inspect it and replace.

TIP: if it grinds, shift quickly on the gear that is grinding. IF you shifted in slow, more wear on the ring itself. ONce its worn, your actual gear will be next.

BTW, synchro rings can now be found for less than $100.
