sounds like a nice setup, I would've used stock Honda rings though. With the block decked and the head shaved, you're looking at pretty high compression, I'd say from 11:5-12:0:1. Who did the pnp, that makes a big difference. With some poor craftsmanship, the head would be better untouched.

Trash the JE rings for OEM honda rings.

im going to have to, cause that is the ONLY thing it needs, cause its burning a little bit of oil, so it needs rings, ill def. get the OEM honda rings..

honda valve seats are very small in relation to v8 heads. 5 angle valve jobs are used on larger valve seats and would be very hard to due and just over kill on a honda. a quality 3 angle is ideal but i know of some who use 4 angle with good sucess.

I think thats a good setup forget the je rings what ecu are u using help me out with my project. get the itr oil pump and water pump though it will be better for performance. help out the engine better. let me know whut ecu u r using though thanx alot nice work good luck.

That is my old roomate's motor. I will tell you personally that I watched him build it. He built it right. That motor runs like a beast.
