just get the civic typeR motor you will be much happier keep it and make sure you get a 92-93 Gsr transmission,and use Msd6 with a SScoil

 

What EXACTLY is going to make him "happier"??? The fact that he will be slower, or the fact that he is PAYING MORE to be slower???

 

I say don't get either, they aren't worth the price tag.

 

slower?guess you have never been in a car with a civic typeR motor,sense i have done both swaps and have driven both that why for my the Ctr is best built honda motor just in the fast of its reliablity and power it will put out,the only downfall like stated above is the use of 89-93 gas we did put 87 and it does run different in the way of idel,but man the Tq on that thing spinning those tires after 3rd gear and still getting a long cherp on 4th from its high compression it is a fun motor to have in a light ass car,i forgot to say you should also look into Lsd for your tranny to get the most from this beautiful built machine

Ugh, you said WE, not HE. And it will have the same amount of torque in any car, you may just FEEL it more in a rex, imagine the ITR in the rex, it actually HAS torque (for a Honda anyway). I'm not trying to start shit here, i'm saying that the ITR is more powerful and has more potential, you're saying he'd be "happier" with a CTR, i'm asking WHY.
