If you consider drag racing to be the reason for his motor issues, then you are wrong.

Drag racing does put a smaller then normal amount of stress on a motor. But if the motor was built properly, it wouldnt have had any issues even drag racing with 50 miles on it & 1 oil change.

Hell, for all we know, the motor was built properly, but abusive over revving caused oil starvation to the rod & or main bearings causing a bearing to spin etc..

There could be 10000s of reasons that his bottom end is taking a shit.

It is recomended that you change your oil after the 1st engine start up & or after 50 miles to prevent loose shavings from damaging anything.

I doubt this caused him to have a knocking issue.

We put the engine in started it let it run for 20 minutes. Shut it down checked for leaks and let it run for another 20 minutes and changed the oil.Next day took the car out did 2nd gear pulls about 18 times and just drove it normal after that.Changed the oil at 500 miles and changed it every other weekend since.Sprayed a 50 shot on it 3 times well after 1500 miles were on it.I did what the shop I got it done at told me to do.

Ive owned about 13 hondas and never screwed up a bottom end. I do not abuse my cars anyone who knows me can vouch for that.I raced it an average of twice a week and took it easy all other times.But I cant complain to much you race your car its bound to happen. I guess Ill just start over and learn from my mistakes

man i had to pay a fuckin outragous cell phone bill 350+...yeah now i cant even pay my car payment...my mom has to pay it......i guess i got in over my head.
