well if this is the guy i think it is when he put the motor back together he was running it and he broke a brand new timing belt within a week of getting the motor back in his car

Could've been a bad oil pump, any number of oil feed problems. It could've been shoddy work on thier part, but don't jump to that conclusion. Have the car towed to them, tell them the problem. Any reputible shop will warranty thier work.
