JRSCed Ls Teg. Problems....Help!!! Over reved.

Unhappy JRSCed Ls Teg. Problems....Help!!! Over reved.

Long story short...
I was just coming home from picking up dinner and some stupid old bitch pulled out 1 car length in front of me from a side street while I was doing a constant 50mph.
Quick reaction...I was going to get in the other lane but there was a SUV in my way, So I slammed on the brakes, layed on the horn, and came 9 inches from the old hags back bumper.

As I'm laying on the horn coming to a quick hault, The bitch has the nerve to wave her hand in the air.... Like saying "OK, Enough horn already"

We started going 45ish, So I decided to down shift (Road Rage) and pass her.
I start getting in the left hand lane (fast) then she pulls into my lane AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went back in the right lane, down shifted into 3rd, Then flew past her.

I was paying mor attention to her then my rev. limit and hit way past 8k (Oh yeah, I have Hondata2b with supercharger, But Their is no Rev. limiter..Or I've never hit it since John at SS tuned it.

Now, When I'm in gear, everything is fine untill I hit 3K rpm or higher.
The Tach bounces all over the place!!! The car sputters when gas is mashed(but I'm still boosting, So It's not the charger) and The Air/ fuel gauge is flopping back and forth like MAD!!! (It's never done that)

What the Hell Could be the problem???

There's no unusual smell, No new bad sounds, nothing leaking, and drives fine as long as I'm under 3500 rpm.

This shit sucks!!!

Could I have popped a spark plug or something?
valves get slapped out of whack?
ECU or Hondata box get damaged due to over reving?

This Sucks!!!

Please Help!

Anyone ever had a simular problem?

Hondata SHOULD Have had the rev limiter set for your car. I have the OEM Hondata (silver Box) and it has a rev limiter. Is the car smoking? Check the plugs and head gasket. LMK If you need any help man.

The car is not smoking.
It's to hot for me to open the radiator at the moment to see if there's any oil in it.

The car runs fine until 3500rpm, Then both Tachs (stock and 5" Autometer with shiftlight) go apeshit.
The car sputters like I have a bad spark plug or the fuel is getting cut off.
Could I have done something to the dizzy?

I'm not sure, that was one of the options given to me back in the day when SS did the work.
The car never hit Rev. limit when I was trying to get past that lady.

I just took it around the block And it runs/idles fine until you go past 3k rpm, Then the tachs bounce to past 8K, The car starts missing here and there, and the charger doesn't sound as loud whining as it used to. I'm still hitting a little over 6psi though. (normal)

My wife says the charger sounds louder at idle, But louder as in...not smooth, almost a metel on metal sound... I don't hear that though.

I don't know............






I just want to drive this thing off a cliff, forget about it and start all over in a 1500 Ram Sport. Hehe

This Honda/Acura Shit has been slowly getting on my nerves lately, I think this problem may finally be the last straw. Heh

if your tach is bouncing and you kno itsn ot right, then its an ignition problem. Iuse to have htis problem, i put some dielectric grease on the ignitors connectors and it fixed my problem. I would consider having your ignitor tested also, could have just gone bad.

So you think pushing my motor to the limit could have finally screwed up my ignition?

Are you saying my stock coil, dizzy cap, dizzy rotor, or dizzy all together could have gone bad?

My Apex-i Rev-speed meter stays at the right RPM "digital", But the tachs both flip out.

The RSM is getting it's signal from right before (1 inch on the wire harness in front of the Computer ) the ECU, Where is the stock tach getting it's signal from that it wouldn't measure the same as the RSM

The Autometer tach is wired at the dizzy.
