the real question now is, how much did you pay for it all?

All else equal, more timing advance will lower EGTs.

If the timing is not sufficient, it will become obvious when EGTs go up as fuel is added. I have seen this first hand with my Dodge. Its pretty spooky when you add 75-100 hp worth of alcohol and the EGTs go up 150 degrees with the exact same advance and no knock retard! But, it confirms where the problem is conclusively. All that extra fuel is burning too "late".

Heres the poor little T3 on my car ages ago when John and I maxxed it out on the Sceret Services dyno for fun! We even went so far as to remove the boost controller and put a vacuum cannister on the wastegate nipple to "suck" the flapper closed! It would spike up to about 25 psi boost, then fall off to about 15 psi as the turbo couldnt keep up with airflow demands.

Turbo was a T3 55 trim (teeny tiny bit larger than the more ubiquitous T3 50 trim) in a 0.42 A/R comp housing paired to a standard T3 turbine in a 0.48 housing.

No I don't shit my pants, because 14b's are still efficient at 20psi (actually that's about where they stop being efficient, and you dont run more then 20 on a 14b)
A T3 60 trim is larger than a 14b... my old setup was a 14b. And yes the wheels are bigger too.
