Default So I've decided to go with a B16/ B18 CRX:

Which do you think would a safer/ better way to go?

A) N/A, raise the compression, throw in some nice 10-5-1 slugs with eagle rods, titanium/ aluminum valve springs and retainers, port n polish the head, and drop a nice little shot of Nitrous on it?

or

B) Turbo, do a complete custom T-3 setup, without the intercooler I can put together a system for right around the 1500 dollar range. Everything is completely brand new. I can find an intercooler online for right around the $500.00 range. Out of these two options, if money was tight, which would you choose?

Flamers, go head, Make My Day! Had to break that out, just saw a Clint Eastwood movie a few mins. ago.

You don't have the first fucking clue what you're talking about, not to mention this is in entirely the wrong forum. Do some research and then decide what you want to do.

If money was tight? I'd say sell the Honda simply cause building a Honda to go fast will cost more than a domestic, no flame intended but rather the honest truth...Then you want Eagle rods, they dont come cheap and you want Titanium anything , no matter what it is will be expensive period.

Your budget already leaped off the edge.

I agree, my budget could be a lot better. It's kind of hard owning a new car, and than fixing up a little beater car for the track when your income is pretty nill.

I don't want to die from somebody else's lack of driving skill. I've heard of too many people eating it and would rather be in a 12 sec car than a 9-10 sec bike.

First of all, you obviously don't know what "accurate" means. When you're going NA on a Honda 10.5:1 is shit, most of the preformance engines come with that or over stock. Next, they NEVER make springs OF ANY KIND out of aluminum, they are most commonly steel. Moving on, P and P is THE LAST THING you do on a Honda, as it doesn't yeild much, ESPECIALLY all motor. As for the Turbo setup, a T3 is not a good choice for a turbo on a Honda, the most common turbos used are T3/T4s, differen't sizes for different applications. AND, you are going to have a hell of a time putting together a RESPECTABLE kit for $1500.

How accurate do you think you are now little bitch?
