mine 2nd motor did the same thing, it would even shut off sometimes in the morning, my problem was my timing, it was too advanced to run when the motor was cold because the ecu advances it 2 degress til it heats up, i had the same prob tho, good luck. -Ben

dont ngk's come pre-gapped? how much are they supposed to be gapped?

Me2...did it start doing it a little bit and then it got worse or what?

For a B16a2 its NGK PFR6L-13, and gap of 0.047 to 0.055 inch

for a D16y5,y7, and y8 its NGK ZFR4F-11(for y5), and ZFR5F-11 (for y7 and y8 engines) all gapped to 0.039-0.043/inch
