ls/vtec with nitrous?

Default ls/vtec with nitrous?

i havent really chosen if i want to do ls/vtec or gsr. but i just have a question about the ls/vtec.. once i get it and put it in i was thinking about putting nitrous for the extra boost while i save for a good turbo set up.. would this be a good idea to do on a ls/vtec?? if so is there anything on the engine i should replace before doing so?? thanks.

if it is built right you shouldnt have any problems as long as you go with a wet kit

i dont know much about nitrous.. but what is the true difference of a wet kit or a dry kit?? someone pease inform me!?!

in my opinion, and knowing alittle about it, personally i would go LS/turbo, or GSR/turbo. i know if you build a LS/V-tec right it will be reliable but the R/S ratio of LS/V-tec sucks and adding to the stress on it with NX , doubles your chances of throwing something.

i would just boost a gsr, or a LS. that way it would be less prone
to killing it.

not tryin to put you down, but it would save you alot of money and be more stable in the long run.

ls turbo w/ factory internals at 7 psi will make about the same power as a well built ls/vtec for about the same amount of money.

what you need to ask your self is what are your goals ?
how much risk factory do you want ?
is this your daily driver ?
The list goes on.
Just use common sence.

you can manage around 245 around 6-7 psi

ls turbo are good setups.... obviously the gsr turbo setup will add an additional 30 hp, although its alot of money
