Default Precision SC50, what A/R?

I am considering a Precision SC50 for my D16Y8 and trying to figure what A/R would be best. Some tell me that the .48 would be best because I will not be increasing redline since the head is stock, so it won't choke up top but still spool really fast. Others have said that the .63 will make more power and more lag for a FWD street car means more traction. I'd like to hear some more opinions. Goals are 250-300whp on pump gas. Maybe more on race gas some day.

Setup will be:
SRP pistons and rings
Eagle rods and ARP bolts
GE block guard
ARP head studs
Precision intercooler
Tial BOV and 38mm waste gate
Mav Rev manifold and downpipe (want to keep A/C)
RC 550cc injectors
Hondata S200

Thanks,
Ryan

Also fogot to mention, I'm trying to decide whether I can stay with what SRP claims to be 10.5:1 C/R but actually calculates out to be more like 10.1:1 C/R or if I need to lower it with a thicker headgasket. Setup was originally running nitrous which is why I started out with more compression.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info, I think I'll go with the 10.1:1 C/R and the .48 A/R.

I just found out that the Lovefab SST manis can fit on a SOHC with A/C if you use the 2.5" downpipe. I was thinking that would be a better option that the Max-Rev.

Also, wouldn't I need an electronic boost controller to reach boost levels that meet my power goals without spiking?

What type of boost controller would you recommend? I am on a budget though, nothing too fancy.
