which brands are total crap and should not be near a honda?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i would do custom piping back to an es oval muffler 
.
but i have no experience with aftermarket exhaust systems so i couldnt really help you there. i just wanted to make a reccomendation if you were looking for one of your cars. ive only had cars with custom exhaust piping made up.

did you have it done on your 4th gen? cuz that is what i need the exhaust system for. how much did they charge? where?

You wanna know which brands are bad??? How about the good ones? I would go with a Thermal if you have the money.

What do you want? Performance or sound? and what car? I would like to hear a 2.5 custom to Comptech muffler. Just cause I loved the comptech SS on my 00 Si.

go on honda-tech.com and search, this question has been asked many times there, and the results seem to consistently come back the same....I myself have an Apex'i N1, no complaints, but my Skunk2 Mega Power will be here by next week

I want to do a 2.25" exhaust. I prefer Thermal if I can come up with the $$$ for one. I have also heard people who were happy with a custom job.
On the question of preformance or sound. Preformance. This is for the engine I rebuilt and I want to make it the best possible. And as far as sound, quiet or deep.
And I live in South Tampa, but driving is no prob.
