results from lowering vtec engagement??

of course trip, but i think if your car wasnt forced unduced 4400 rpms would have been seriously too low and you car would have had that funky flatspot from the high cam lobes drawing in more air...yes it is only for a second or so, but couldnt we all use a second or so??? i know on my turbo civic the one you saw, as long as i keep my btec engaged in any boost power band it feels good, but i bet if it were a stock B16 it wouldnt work so well.....just my.02, nice dyno sheet tho

lol. Cron, I was referring to NC's friend mentioned earlier.

Agreed, n/a the engagement point should stay higher in the rpm band. Afterall isn't that what Honda developed it for? A higher revving engie for power, as opposed to a lower revving larger displacement type?

Thanks for the dap on the graph, I like this one better though.. Can't wait to see what the next one looks like

anyone else have anything to say about this, i think the guys from spoon showed that on an rsx any change in vtec engagement lost power, i need some solid info to back up my argument......
