ls reving to 8?

Stock LS cams won't make any power at 8k , and the stock LS valve springs will float before that so it's pointless...

So since I got a built head on my 95 ls with stage 3 cams....its ok to get mine to rev high. or would i have to build the bottom end?

a set of crower cams 404s stage 3 crower dual valvesprings and retainers skunk2 intake manifold with a direct port 100 shot skunk2 cam gears raised rev to 8200? maybe?. Or not a chance in hell ?.

Skip the intake manifold, and cam gears. Cam gears are used to advance the timing, and with n20 thats BAD. Or if you leave them in netural youll be fine but, it would be a waste of money for that 1hp gain. The skunks2 manifold is about 8hp, which isnt worth the 400 price tag. Stick to a good set of cams, headwork(p&p), stiffer springs and retainers, and tuning. With that and the right cams power could be made at 8k, but the stock bottom end wont last. The ls rod ratio is not made for 8k....

Valve springs, valves themselfs don't really need to be mest with unless your going turbo or nitrous, just springs and retainers are primarily needed

retainers are only gonna get you an extra 300 rpm..not really necesary,but i got them any way..

why not just throw a vtec head on with a good valvetrain and some toda c's? u could make like 230 to the wheels......
