LS or GSR Tranny

Wich one should you use on a LS motor? which would be beter and why?

i would say gsr

gsr has a bigger differential and with the 1.8 torque ur gunna need it or say good by to your diff

i already wsted one LS tranny with my ls/vtec
toasted the fuck outta the diff

and if you ever drove a swap with an LS transmission u would shoot yourself at how much you lose from that p.o.s

If you're staying N/A GSR, if you're going to turbo it, LS.

I had an LS until now,I drove it both on the motor and turbo.The GSR is shorter but most of the time the GSR tranny will cost alot more.The LS is not as bad as people think.As far as the diff if you are on the motor a phantomgrip will work.

no LS is still too long... GSR all the way... N/A and turbo i think GSR is the best tranny out there...

I will take your word for it since i am not talking from experience, and you are, but i have heard from a lot of builders that LS trannies are good for boost over 10 pounds.

i have heard that too... but i really dont like them for daily or track or any kind of driving... also let me edit my first post in saying that the GSR is the best all around... it is!!! but the b16 is a really fun city driving tranny for NA!!! shit that is what i had in my boosted GSR in the EG!!! talk about burnin' tires in 4th!!!
