What he was trying to say here is...
86-89 motors use the same injectors, distributor, alternator etc..
hence you wont have a wiring job to do, only mounts

if you want an easy swap into a crx, buy a zc motor it and boost it

go to homemadeturbo.com there are tons of single cam home made turbos there to look at...

oh i definetly am going to DOHC. i just dont know which swap to do and if i can get a good block from the junkyard and build it up, i would do that. could i get the b18a bottom end, and find maybe a b18c head? or soemthing along those lines...more power is always better...

ls/vtec is a great way to go... but you might be better off in the long run with a gsr motor w/ some minor mods like a intake manifold & some cams.

reason i say this is...
lsvtec can get expensive compared to a complete swap
lsvtec wont last as long 50% of the time because of it's high compression

to each is own.. i say go lsvtec in a crx... fun fun

heh....
why would you build an ls/vtec setup w/ stock ls pistons ?
you would be shooting you're self in the foot.
you would want atleast jdm b16 or ctr pistons with an ls crank & rods in a 1.8 block.
