81mm bore will give you a whole lot more Sleeve to support that Combustion Pressure...You gotta understand that a 14:1 HiComp GSR will make about 800psi of Combustion Pressure on an 84mm bore whereas his 400HP Turbo GSR will make about 2000psi of Combustion Pressure on the 81mm bore...

That is quite a difference of Combustion that the sleeves have to absorb...

The 81mm bore will have thicker more sturdy sleeves and will also dissippate the heat much more than the 84mm bore...The 84mm bore will help unshroud the valves which is neccessary to make Max Power with an Allmotor setup...Unshrouding the valves are not needed to make power with FI...

You pay more for the Crower, Pauter, Carillo, Cunningham Rods because they are tested and tested and tested throughout every machining process...Each individual Rod is tested seperately...Unlike, Eagle Rods, which test maybe 1 out of every 100 Rods...Now, the Eagles may be just fine but if you want to build your motor with the best, you have to buy the best...

Suncity.....
why would you be worried about the excess stress on the cylinder walls from 84mm as opposed to 81mm if its getting resleeved by golden eagle??????????

thats the whole point of re-sleeving it

Thats exactly how its done...Sleeve is installed and then the boring is done...
