JDM ITR motors are fine to turbo. The problems begin when either to motor isn't tuned or the boost is too high.

Fact.The B16, GSR and ITR are supposed to be N/A, That's why the have cest pistons and floating sleeves. That doesn't mean you can run a higher cylinder pressure with the right build.
Here's an JDM ITR in a delsol we boosted a few months ago.

I wouldn't recomend running much over 300whp in stock trim on a GSR or ITR.
