? do i stick with a th350 or the 700r? i know the 350 is stronger but with 4.11 gears the 700r 4 will save on gas and give me good top speed

 

What do you have in there now. Engine/tranny combo? HP/TQ? Rear Gear? Tires? Weight of the car? Power adders?

Where will you end up?

Do you drive it everyday?

 

stay away from the 700r4 and 4l60e they are weak as hell get the th350 or a 4l80e--(out of vette) they are much stronger---if you want a fast car you shouldnt worry about gas---also dont run such a high gear----you can still be really fast without a high gear in the rear....

 

I wouldnt run that small of a final gear ratio with any automatic if you plan on using it for street use.

 

3200 lbs novaSS about 450 hp and 460ft lbs 4.11gear in the rear.its fine like it is but on the highway it sucks 3000rpm at 60mph 4000rpm at 80mph windin at 100 .dont know what stall 2500 or 3500 ? and runnin a higher gear is out ....higher gears whith a high stall takes forever to go unless i stomp it!!!!
