like chevy build anything else with that spacing... guess the big block was based off a ford too right? and oh shit what about BPO's they all have motors without that so called gay ass port spacing.

and that gay ass spacing is because we have extra head bolts that the ports have to go around, back in the 50s and 60s that was a very good thing to have and giving up some port flow for head gaskets not blowing was worth its weight in gold..... just ask any 5.0 guy how many head gasket's he's replaced... i have never once blown a head gasket in a chevy and i've killed motors on spray and boost in just about every way you can think of. now that gasket tech is really good it just makes sense to remove that extra bolt, just like almost every other motor in the world. not just your pos ford junk!!


and on top of all of that, have you ever seen the flow numbers on a stock 5.0 head? i wouldn't base anything off those junk heads.
