Turbo LS1 and LT1
an LS1 i have faith in pushing 500+ consistantly, but an LT1, with the crank and hypereutectic pistons, i dunno, even being conservative, i think it could be trouble.

Thanks for all the great feed back guys.
Here is something to see.
I cut out where my t-tops would have sat and installed plexiglass.
Its been like this for about 6mths. The turbo being in the rear does not even
get hot enough to turn it yellow.

in the world of turbo's that would be correct, as boost is regulated by the wastegate...but for me, pressure drop = centrifical blower having to pressurize all the extra piping to any larger setup, where as i only have to pressurize 3ft of 3" right now.
and it wouldnt be on top of the motor for the plain fact, heat rises.

They quit selling smaller pulleys for Vortech's?
And as I've mentioned before a Doctor in thermodynamics who's into SVO mustangs did the calculations and over the course of the average length required for a frontmount, the difference in time to fill a 2" vs 3" pipe was FAR less than a tenth of a second. I think I could live with those numbers.
