you need to go to the very bottom of the page, for non dtc related problems, "Engine crank but will not run" and troubleshoot from there.
ok,...seems like i need a ECU reader?? fuck this car...fuck any computer car.

in dire situations like this its time i put my extremely extensive LT1 knowledge power to the use helping others obtain happiness... when u screw up your LT1 as much as I have mine u kinda get to find out what u did to break it... and there seems to be many

Ok take a breath... Lets look at all the things that will allow your car to Crank but not start...
Ok so FUEL and IGNITION it is.
Now if u know for sure your not getting spark then why are u checking your fuel?
Ok So lets assume because the tip of your screw driver did not blow off then that means no electricity was flowing through your Coil.. Now the next question is why?

Ok lets take a look. Your car is a 95... hmmmm i believe you have a 4 pin connector on that Coil.. No matter... Take your Multimeter/Volt meter and set it to OHM. Now place 1 lead on the "Plug Wire" connector that goes to the opti... then put your other lead on each of upper pins on the coil. Make sure u have a very good connection. You should read inbetween 5-8.8 ohms. This will prove your COIL is good.

Now lets take a look else where..... hmmmm.... Changed ICM... usually not the problem but possible but not this time... so moving on.... Ok the opti... Dead optis will throw no codes. testing it is a pain in the ass to do and harder to explain so we'll skip that and test something else thats easier...

Ok lets look at the Opti electrical harness Pull the harness out and inspect the opti female connector and the harness male connector for corrosion. Now hook ur multimeter up to it and test the wire for OHMs to see if its good.

IF u order a new opti pick it up from Dal or Jason cromer.. bout 300 bucks.

Basically if u tested the COIL, ICM, grounds, electrical harness..... and it still wont start... then change your opti.. process of elimination.

if it was cranking while he was testing the coil with the screw driver than its not the battery. if it cranks then the battery is fine.

Shoebox is the man too... I donated some money to his site today actually.. Hes a big help.
