Seems like very little compared to how everyone else exaggerates.

They say the 02 SS is fastest Camaro Chevy ever made. back in 70s they had 350CI with 350HP on the motor, ur sayings my LT only might have 285. That comparison seems weird unless back then they used Lead Driveshafts and all?!!
well the o2 ss might be the fastest camaro and the ones in the 70s might have 350 hp but the difference is technology.. there are a lot of factors when it comes to making power and transfering that power to the ground in the quickest fashion

as for dyno pricing, you can get like 2 or 3 runs for 40 bucks and sometimes even less at the dyno days..

usually parasitic loss is something like 15-17% maybe more

another thing you should know is that magazines print what the print because companies like hooker pay them to do it.. they arent just average people like us printing what they find on their own research..

a custom tune. lt1 edit is one of many programs. i would ONLY go to a custom tuner. but that costs money.

rev xtreme is in brandon. so is coastal dyno. RX specializes in fbodys.

the programer is crap and basically its "performance tune" isnt accurate... if your car is stock theres really no use in tuning it, you wont gain that much... do other things first, get it breathing better like exhaust intake and heads and cam and then you will see HUGE gains from a dyno tune (plus you will need one to get your computer to run the new cam correctly)

as for dynos coastal is probably the closest dyno to you or revxtreme... race related off ulmerton has one

I just wanna know where ur gettin the 285 horse. If its a 94 or 95 like i think urs is its 275 to the crank. I have a few bolt ons. Longtubes, twin 52mm TB,Hooker Y-pipe. AFPR, programmer,SS hood and ram air. I put down 280 HPand 379TQ. On a 50 shot it went to 315 HP just under 4 and a quater for TQ. It takes alot to put some serious #'s down. Go to Sunshine this Wed night and well run. You run 8.8 stock pretty much. I run 8.69 N/A. Well see

pcmforless is probably the best mail-away tune available, the only advantage to dyno tuning is that the tune is specific for YOUR engine.. basicall you can watch someone test and tune it and you will get the best all around results.. best idea is to wait til you get some heads to match that cam of yours before you step up from your tune otherwise it is probably pointless..
