its just that fact that your young. i get it all the time too, i just turned 27 but i look really young. i went into lexus to look at IS300's and they wouldnt let me drive a car until they ran a credit check. after that they wanted to stick all of thier noses up my ass.

funny thing is the guys at the bmw dealership were all cool as hell. didnt give me any shit, ask me what i wanted let me drive what i wanted and helped me locate the car i wanted. thats why i will be driving a laguna seca blue bimmer before too long.

I got to mess with the car. One guy was kinda dumb about it, and kept telling me that it's the fastest thing EVAR! I did like the seats mucho though.

I went to subaru, and they told me how it doesn't pull much more than the WRX, but the handling is much better. Then they told me to wait for the sti, b/c that's gonna... be better.

Hmmmmm, I say the EVO is too hyped up

Personally I'd go with a WRX STI (yes I am a DSMer) because Subarus aren't unreliable as all hell.

But all in all, I'd never buy a new car anyway, too expensive, heavy, ect

Then again I'm just 17 with no money, so I'll have fun with my 1G AWD.

Call me a traitor, but STI > EVO imo

 

Before i bought the Srt-4 i test drove a Sti,Evo,Si,Type-R,and a older M3...No credit checks on any besides the Skittle...

 

Wow, 2 year old post. I got to testdrive an evo last month, and i dont even have a license any more, dealer buddies.

 

Two of my friends have evos. First my friend ben bought his and then weeks later they went to the dealership PULLED UP IN A EVO and the guy in sarasota still let my friend brett take the other one out all by themselves. But the again this was when they first came out.
