You need to let this set for 24 hours before you try and remove all the water. Also use a red food coloring mixed with your water this is so you can be sure you have removed every drop of water from your gas.

In the United States Unleaded gas has 10% ethanol added to it per the EPA. Ethanol is hydrophilic which means it is attracted to water. Water and engines do not mix and especially water and carburetors. Remove the ethanol by simple adding 8 oz of water, shake it up and let it settle for 12-24hrs. Remove the fluid that settles to the bottom and you're left with pure gas.
