Default Spec clutches are junk and they dont stand behind there product !!!! beware

Some of you may have had a good experience but i for sure did not..

I purchased a brand new clutch pressure plate and flywheel combo for a 1993 gsr Integra. it was the stage 3 6 puck sprung clutch. I purchased this clutch from a private seller but it was 100% brand new in a box and unused. I was really excited to use one of your clutches and when i finally bought one I felt confident that it was a good buy…. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.. I had the clutch set up behind a stock b20z2 motor with the 93 gsr trans and drove it on the street with no issues. The first trip out to the track was terrible!! The clutch inner dampening springs and spring perches that hold the spring together all came apart causing damage to my transmission case and flywheel. I wouldn’t have expected this from a company like spec and its shocking that this happened.

they claim this clutch is for drag racing applications of 300 hp.... funny a 147 hp motor distroyed it....
