i didn't mean as in signing something lol should have worded it differantly. i just kinda meant. every shop like that has an underhanded way of fucking people over. places like the ones talked about in this thread are the kinds of shops that give ALL mechanics a bad name. it's just fucked up..

the car has 110k and i'm pretty sure i'll prolly need new rotors and pads. Thats my best guess. I can here the brakes everytime i start to slow its not loud but i figure i should get it out of the way now

We have a huge list of TR shops so that you can find one in your area that will do what you need. How about starting a thread in the main TR Shop forum with what you need, and a shop will chime in to tell you if they can do it.

ok well I wasn't sure if i should go to a performance shop cuz i've dealt with a performance shop from the shop forums here on tr and i gave them a lot of business but they aren't reliable. I was just looking for a mechanic shop cuz as a performance shop it seems they aren't really interested in basic maintenance cuz it doesn't bring in enough money i guess.

Some shops just won't get it together, performance or not. Most shops don't mind doing small work. It's still labor, and quick cash.
