Why is the s2000 loved so much and the miata looked down on so much?


They both are pretty much the same in all categories. Price, looks, handling, performance.

To be honest i think the miata has better handling stock vs stock but the S2000 has slightly more horsepower Is it on because of the beloved H on the front grille or is there something else im missing? possibly the availability of aftermarket parts and support?

Im not looking to start any shit i just want a honest discussion on this.

I think its more so the Miata is always in the top 10 lists of cars owned by gay men. I think a company needs to do a similar car, but with a peppy v6 and still keep it a well balanced car. The cars are fun to drive, but they even funner with some torque

 

fuck what everyone else thinks. S2000s are fucking ugly. Miatas look 100x better, and are much cheaper.

 

S2k has classic sexy lines, and a far stiffer chassis. Definitely much faster in a straight line. Used to whip up on Miatas at the autox with regularity when i owned mine

 

Yea stock vs stock there is no comparison performance wise. A cage and suspension in the miata makes the miata much more fun, but they are dog shit slow.

Miatas just look like a car a woman would drive, just like the celica. They dont look nearly as sporty as an S2000 when compared stock to stock.

 

the biggest reason would be the looks.

 

What you left out is how you know I'm gay. Me and stance>fenders have met up on several occasions. He likes it in the passenger seat of his car.
