Hoosier Tires
If I thought it was safe to drive public roads with a bias ply tire, I would buy Hoosier DOT slicks for all 4 corners of my Talon.
I don't have any first hand reviews of them though.

I know of several people who run them and do very well. They are a great tire, but a bit expensive for my blood.
I'm using the Kumho VictoRacer 700's. They're nearly half the price of the hoosiers, but nearly match them in performance.

I don't know anything about tire technology, what's wrong with driving on bias ply tires?

As long as you don't mind the difference in handling that you MIGHT be able to feel with plys and the 1-4% fuel economy difference they are perfectly fine for the street.
