From filing/sparening the electrode, clocking the plug in different degrees, multiple grounding straps, additional washers for spacing, different gapping techniques, etc.

MANY lower end race teams also spend time testing shelf plugs and different oil brands/weights etc. you would be suprised at which style/brand plugs yeilded gains.

NGK is what i would reccomend.
I thought everybody clocked their plugs I do on my lawnmower even

NGK coppers or a step colder if needed otherwise Iridiums if you have a bigger turbo on pump especially with meth. (tend to foul plugs faster)
I got 30+ thousand miles of my NGK Iridiums spraying over 800cc of 100% meth and 28psi.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

That's what all the other F-body guys run. I actually need to change them this weekend. NOT looking forward to that.

Filing and clocking has been around for a very long time. Back when I was a little kid helping out in my parents speed shop one of the first things they let me do was file plug electrodes, lol.

Now that plugs are centrally located in most combustion chambers I can see clocking loosing its popularity but in any offset design I'd concider it a performance given.

Combustion flame front propagation is critical to engine performance so its always good to have the spark gap aimed in the right direction.

can you even gap iridium plugs? Pretty sure the tip would break IDK just seems like they are too fragile.

You can gap any kind of plug. You bend the metal prong that has the electrode on it, carefully of course, lol.
