i am buying the AEM SRI.....its nearly $100 CHEAPER than the AEM CAI and w/ the CAI u have to relocate some resevoir and its just a hassle.....and the Injen is prone to being a PIECE OF SHIT......so for the sake of 1-2hp LESS i am going w/ the AEM SRI

where did these numbers come from and anybody have a pic of all (including stock) the intakes for the RSX? Because those results arent typical of a normal honda engine bay/intake setup. Would like to look at the RSX in detail and filter placement of those intakes.
Well like you said...the dyno runs are done with the hood open...that makes big difference when compared to driving around with the hood closed.
After all the piss all over this thread...Im thinking for now Im going to just drop in a K&N filter (my stock filter is a cone already) and modify some of the stock piping to maximize cold air getting to the filter.

so this explains such a large gain for what appeared to be just an intake
