yeah umm if youre gonna believe 15-18hp from a short (hot air) intake then dont even bother spending your money on car parts. Not to be rude but if you believe them then you really know nothing about a car and how it works and how various mods affect hp. Think about it how can it add 15hp how different is it from a stock intake? Its just a tube with a filter. It may flow slightly more CFM then a stock intake but not nearly enough CFM to make that much hp and thats not even taking into account of the hot air its breathing in.

first off these specs are from injen for a GSR and a 240 single cam..... and just ta let ya know ( a common mistake) short ram is still cold air and actually gets cooler and cleaner air if your intelligent enough to either add a ram port or (in the case of the 240sx) buy one. so HAHAHAHAHAHAHA yourself. research before retort. oh and by the way with a port or an arm extension(what u call CAI) hte gain on the teg was 18.5 at the wheels. Also you might get a better return if you ditched that K&N supercharger held to your stock intake manifold by silly putty and cardboard.

Yea whatever you say but you still did not adress what i said that could be a 600HP GSR where they tested the short ram before and after.
Not tryin to have a problem with you but that is an impossible gain on a stock gsr.

ok since youre an expert how is the air cooler on a short ram intake? Cleaner??? Nope not with a good filter. Who said anything about a k&n attached to the intake manifold especially considering the intake would be attached to a t-body. Maybe if you didnt believe everything you read and took hersay for what it is you wouldnt be starting pissing contests. How many dynos have you seen where somebody (other than a biased company) has replaced just the intake on a gsr? Ive seen 2 one of them was about 3hp throughout the revband and the other was just a hair under 2hp peak.

Honda makes the best honda parts. They didnt spend million and millions of dollars developing the best streetable cam and simply forget about the intake box. The boxes flow just as well as any intake. Look at Foos car stock airbox. Jackson racing has used stock air boxes on innumerable applications. Even cars with psychotic setups have used simply a stock NSX airbox or a cf duplicate thereof. Dont waste your money and dont belive every thing you read.
