Eh

2010 370z curb weight: 3232lb

2010 Nissan 370Z specs, auto safety at Edmunds

2010 Mustang GT curb weight: 3401lb

2010 Ford Mustang specs, auto safety at Edmunds

So it looks like it's only 169lb difference.

I'm also sure with the track pack, the way the Mustang reacts and feels will change in terms of handling.

I'd probably take a Mustang with the track package over a Z34. But thats just speculation. I'd really have to drive them back to back to chose. I like cars that handle more so than cars with more power. So if the GT feels almost as good to drive in stock trim as a Z34 then I'd buy one. If not then I'm not sure.

But the way a car handles is way more important to me than how much power it has, so thats the deciding factor.

I could have swore the sticker on the 370z i tested quoted weight around the 31xx range and the mustang gt i test drove said something slightly over 3500lbs.

I stand corrected, and agree with LongFellow's stance between both cars.

Grabber Blue. Supposed to be the same color that came on the old mustangs.

Makes me want to get a new one, I kinda of like that color more than grabber orange.

i dont think 370z's are boats, but it seems so many cars today are bloated. i guess i'm used to driving a late 90's 240sx, where the car is decently sized but it's minimally bloated. i can see around me, and i can "feel" the car persay. the z i drove was really nice but i just didn't enjoy that it wasn't the easiest to see 360* in.

same with the mustangs and camaros. i still need to drive the camaro and challenger, but looking at them up close it just seems similar. just not a fan of the bigger cars.

the mustang interior is nice though. out of the 3, i will probably go for the mustang.

I pretty much agree with every thing here, since I also drive a late 90's 240sx and have had similar experiences.

I will say the 370 feels alot smaller than the 350. I like them alot more.

Yeah I was going to mention that nearly all sporty cars are bloated these days. I'm sure it has to do with safety... and americans getting fatter

I remember in the mid 80's they were going to replace the mustang with the probe. Guess they made a good choice on which to keep.
