Default 2011 Mustang to have 5.0 "coyote" motor

Currently being tested in a 2010 Mustang

DOHC 32v, HP/TQ rumors seem to be 400hp/400tq

Should bring it right back in the game with the Camaro and Challenger.

From what I read it's supposed to replace the mod motor. I guess they are going to use it in lieu of the 5.4 on their trucks as well. Supposed to be short stroke, some articles are suggesting a 7k rpm redline. But I'll believe that when I see it.

Haha I think it's the same tube that the current 3v has for the 2010 mustang. It's to let noise from the motor inside the cabin , I think they got the idea from BMW because I know the Z4 was introduced with the same thing.
