A 26hp deficit being that it's 1.2 liters less displacement isn't bad. That and the mustang is about 300lbs less than the camaro and about 600lbs less than the challenger.
Motor Trend had the new 2010 mustang (with 315HP/325TQ) go 0-60 in 4.9 and the quarter in 13.5@104.2mph. In the same test the new SS went 0-60 in 4.7 and the quarter in 13.00@111. Should be a good race with the new motor.

We shall see. I like the styling of 05ish mustangs (i'd lower one with clean wheels and exhaust and call it a day), I was just laughing since they are behind again just like when the 98-02 camaros were around
