I like the bikes and the airplanes too but never cared much for the boats but was the beauty of Speedvision. To bring all the differnt stuff to the enthusiast. I dont care much for old American cars but I watched the shows anyways to learn more. I cant stand Harleys but I loved wathing those guys do the metal forming that they do to customize their bikes. I hope they get back to the normal stuff soon. Cause having NASCAR crammed down my throat isnt making me happy.

Theres a hell of a lot more to oval track racing than driving around in a circle and if you never take the time to understand more than go fast turn left then you will never enjoy it.

A large part of any racing is what is happening in the car as well as behind the scenes most who follow racing (of any type) will understand this. The rest just watch it because of the wrecks... those are the people I can do without..

Much like TampabayDragway is now.. 3-4 years ago 100 cars on a Wed. night was packed.. now I can only WISH that there were that many cars there for T-N-T.
Nowdays everyone comes out of the woodwork to see if the washer lights they added will aid them in getting down the 1/8th mile track any faster.
Not to knock those that drive imports and actually go there for what it is (test and tune) the rest I wish would just stay home or stay away.

sorry but i dont like sitting at home watching cars turn left for 3 hours no matter how fast they go while doing it. the only nascar races i do care to watch is when they make thier way to a road course like sears point.

if fox made such an effort to get wrc rally and gt touring races as popular as neckcar then maybe we wouldnt have this problem but they wont. so i say rest in peace poor speed vision may your grave go un spit on by renecks with tabacy in thier mouths.

That really sucks.

But you know Fox Sports World does a really good job of showing stuff we dont get to see often like Rugby English Premier Leauge(and other European soccer leagues) etc. So maybe they will do an OK job at keeping the European racing showing...since that is what has kept Speedvision growing.

I know there are skills to NASCAR like drafting etc. But it is so darn boring. Once youre up to speed you dont even have to change gears or anything. Heres the cycle:
circle circle circle crash...
circle circle circle crash...
Just cant get into that stuff. The other day I heard a NASCAR commercial say the fastest sport in the world. LOL. They must really expect people to be dumb. Because they dont race at near the speed of F1. But oh well.

My favs. are Rally and the GT series racing.

its almost stupid to even calll NASCAR racing. i look as it as dog/horse racing taken to the next level. im not saying it doesnt take some skill to do it but have you ever watched any of the ice/snow rallies? or any european road races? and as far as cars... they do some cool stuff with american V8s and family cars but lets see one of those go head to head with a DTM or WRC car as far as innovative technology. real racing does more to advance the sport in 2 months than NASCAR does in 5 years. just my .02.
