Flushstance - Offset is nothing without width&drop!
More than half those cars have improper wheel/tire sizing and too much camber. And it looks terrible. I mean HONESTLY, is there anyone who DOESN'T see a problem here?

That looks so retarded!

That looks so retarded!

don't comment on things you don't understand. Negative camber is part of a good flush stance, sorry it's not your cup of tea, but seriously, let the thread continue.
And if you try to argue that you DO know about fitment and stance, the proof is in the retarded shadows cast on your 15s on a grand am that you don't know shit.

Aaron, to give you a little insight, from what I've seen, read, and learned this style was started by Europeans. Apparently there are laws saying your tire's tread can not extend past the body work. This of course was a big problem for VW owners that wanted to roll on Porsche Turbo reps, so to get around that law they began poking (having a wheel that extends outside of the body work) and stretching (running a narrow tire on a wide rim). These two stylistic features allowed them to run wide Porsche/Audi/whatever wheels, while not violating any state/local laws.
Disclaimer: Its possible everything I just said is not true.

keep thinking its cool though . your friends commend you!
here is as you say "fitment and stance" of a car that has actual use
whats hard to understand about fitment and stance ? put some unsafe camber on a car , make the suspension useless, and stretch tires onto rims to make them unsafe as well.. spend gay amounts of money replacing tires every 2000 miles and repeat on the next trendy car you get. try selling some of those cars to people who have common sense, you won't get 5$ for them.

wow, disrespecting the value of those cars because of settings that are EASILY changed is ignorant. disrespecting personal opinions is even more ignorant. I don't go running around telling road racers are dumb because they set their cars up for what they want/like. I don't tell drag racers that building cars to go fast in a straight line is pointless. I don't tell drifters that beating the shit out of their cars in potentially unsafe places to get "practice" is some of the most retarded shit, EVER. So please, I understand your points. However, this thread is not a debate, it's a presentation of cars built with this particular style in mind for those who enjoy it.
If you can't understand and appreciate this intelligent (but probably wrongfully worded) argument, then maybe you should just fucking leave the internet alone.

keep arguing that they aren't , but this trend as it is will be gone soon anyways... after all, it is just people copying europeans who are trying to bypass laws to fit wider rims on their cars. its not like there is any real reason to do this to your car. might as well put some stickers on it and an aluminum wing again . then maybe the ricers wouldn't even make fun of it because even they can see its pointless.
this is all aimed at the 98% of cars with terrible camber, stretched tires, and moronically modified suspensions, just to try being "different" like everybody else . .. not the 2% in the multiple threads I have seen that are tastefully and logically modified with some form of common sense to safety and good looks.
