ive seen a few Camaros lately and im not impressed at all. the rear end looks like one big piece of plastic. Looks like they wanted to put some vette in it and failed miserably. the front end is cool i guess but i cant stand Ford or Chevys judgment on these retro interiors. they both look like Ass. I would opt for the Genesis over the Camaro

that makes at least two of us.
I actually like the looks of the camaro, even if the rear looks like a 500lb fat chick sat on the back end of a vette...but I am very skeptical about it's handling since the car is huge....thats right, the Camaro is enormously bulky...just look at any pics of 1 parked next to normal cars....

yup. the new SS was at the local theatre the other day and it was black/black. it did look good, but it's definitely bulky.
i think american cars have really lost the art of using body lines. certain cars still have them, like the vette, new challenger, but some of them are too caught up trying to be edgy and thinking the public wants some new age shit (or something retro all new aged up), that they end up making the car look like junk.
the genesis has a bit of a funky front end (cure it with a better grille), but at least it has a good looking profile.
i prefer smoother looking cars and the big 3 are notorious for putting out stuff that is anything but.

The Camaro is a boat though at a little over 3800 lbs but nothing compared to the Challenger at 4100 lbs... Yea u are comparing apples to oranges there. Like the 4th gen f-bodies with the 3800 series (V6) were compared to the Solora years ago...
Camaro outshines them all again IMO. When ur base vehicle in V6 form is putting 10 hp less then ur other V8 competitior (Mustang GT) you know you are doing well... These are just frivolous points as well. Do some research and you'll find the Genisis and others arent as great as they are made to seem. (Of course the Camaro is the same, it has faults of course.) All in all it's always subjective. It's all in your consideration of styling and performance.

This is the thinking that has been the ruin of Detroit for years now! Discerning customers expect MORE than just HP now-a-days, they want handling, looks, and comforts....

Im not trying to pursuade anybody towards the car btw. I just love what GM has done with the car (esp. despite there financial situation)... Let the Pony wars begin!
