Cliff Notes; the V6 Hyundai Genesis Track Edition is only a fraction of a second quicker 0-60, in the quarter, and on the race track then V6 Camaro with optional Pirreli tires on 19" wheels. But livability is another story. On the street the Camaro outshines the buzzy and harsh Genesis Track.

To me, the real story is....that a base Camaro SS with the V8 is only $745 more than a V6 Genesis Track Edition. No thanks Hyundai.

From Car & Driver:
Genesis V-6 Track price: $30,250
Camaro SS V-8 base price: $30,995

I'd like to know where you can buy a Camaro SS anywhere right now for under $40k? The one I looked at had an MSRP of $42k and the dealer wanted over $50k.

I'd personally take a Camaro over a Hyundai any day of the week,.. though the new Hyundai V8 coupe with rwd made me take a second look. As soon as I find one on a dealer lot I want to take it out for a test drive,.. just ouf sheer curiosity. The fact that the imports are making a V8 rwd coupe is stepping on home turf. First the trucks,.. now the pony car segment. Seems nothing is sacred anymore.

if they are really trying to get that much over MSRP then GM is going to be gone soon too.

The hyunday is not a v8 ... it comes in v6 config or in a turbo 4 (same engine in the new evo "4b11") ...

I'm really suprised that anyone would like the looks of the genisis over the camaro. I mean it's nice, but I love the look of the new camaro.

This is why you get the turbo 4 genesis and easily get the extra hp out of it for much less than buying the v6.

I really like the new camaro too bad they say they are not practical for anyone over 5'10"
